Foundation Day
The day PSI was founded is a great celebration that fosters love for and loyalty to the school. Highlights include the cake-cutting ceremony, extempore speeches and treats such as a trip to a theme park, the cinema or a play.
Elections
Students experience democracy by electing office bearers. Teachers nominate candidates from the three houses, a week-long campaign follows, and votes are counted before the candidates’ representatives. Flags and badges are presented at the Friday assembly. The Head Girl and Head Boy are chosen by the faculty.
Eid Festivities
Children come in their Eid clothes and enjoy traditional treats such as halwa, aloo bhaji and naan.
Mothers’ Day
Children invite their mothers to tea at school and honour them as a source of inspiration.
Sports Day
The Annual Sports Day, also known as Fathers’ Day, is organised by school houses.
